We're a Family Owned Company Since 1983
Bob Thompson commenced his career in the Automotive Radiator manufacturing industry with King & Sons Pty Ltd at Bowen Hills, Brisbane. Manufacturers of the famous Queensland radiator brand ‘King Core’ which dates back to the WWI era, it was a name synonymous with quality.
In 1983 Bob and wife Debbie commenced operations of Bayswater Road Radiators. With an emphasis focused towards quality and fast service in the retail and trade sectors, Bayswater Road Radiators experienced steady growth and expansion throughout the greater Townsville region
After being given the opportunity to purchase the existing Townsville based Natrad Franchise in 2004, the newly expanded operation was relocated to a larger new premises, designed and fitted out as a purpose-built radiator repair and service facility. With a modern showroom and a high-exposure site, the business has continued to grow and is well positioned to adapt to future industry trends.
Son Aaron Thompson joined the business in 2001 and has become involved in the day to day management operation of the business.
Bayswater Radiators are a long standing member of the MTAQ and is a supporter of junior sport and local community charities.
The ensuing years of solid trading led to an even stronger market recognition culminating with the state award for the “2008 Natrad Franchise Of The Year. A fine accomplishment indeed. Further accolades came when Bayswater Radiators secured the much sought after and prestigious “2008 National Natrad Franchise Of The Year.”
This National Award along with the earlier State Award firmly cemented their role as the North’s leading radiator supply and repair organization and proves beyond a doubt that the professionalism of Bayswater Radiators has truly paid off, leaving you, the client, the winner.
